Wandering emergency tools to download and share

LifePROTEKT wants to thank the AWAARE Collaboration on working to prevent wandering incidents and deaths within the autism community.   As we all know, it is important to familiarize yourself with the dangers of wandering, as well as share this type of  information with friends, family and members of the community. Prevention materials, including the information found on the LifePROTEKT website, can be forwarded to anyone who may require this information. Other sections of this site, such as Products that Protect, or LifePROTEKT’s Comparison Grid are useful tools for comparative features of personal location based GPS devices for your review.

For those that have a child in school or daycare setting, a sample IEP letter has been created to help ensure your child’s safety outside of the home. To reach others who may not be aware of special programs in your community and offer other wandering prevention initiatives and solutions, please refer them to LifePROTEKT at 800 939 3952.  We will help provide the best solution to assist with wandering prevention and the technologies we recommend.  We all realize that community outreach is a critical component in spreading the word about autism-related wandering and there is nothing that can take the place of first hand caregiver responsible monitoring of our loved ones.
